ORF Long Night of the Museums 2024

Bludenz town museum: DEMONSTRATIONS OF THE HISTORIC WHEEL GRINDING MACHINE (AT 7.30 PM AND 8.30 PM) Accompanied by the Bludenzer Sängerrunde, demonstrations of the historic wheel grinding machine will take place in the town museum.

Bludenz town hall: EXHIBITION “50 YEARS OF THE TOWN HALL” (FROM 18:00 TO 24:00) The “Long Night” is officially opened in Bludenz Town Hall (3rd floor) with musical accompaniment by the town orchestra.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAM (AT 6.30 PM AND 7.30 PM) Readings from the new history book “Bludenzer Geschichte in Geschichten” (Bludenz History in Stories) for children aged eight and over will take place in Bludenz Town Hall, accompanied by music.

St. Cross Church: EXHIBITION “90 YEARS OF HL. KREUZKIRCHE” (FROM 18.00 TO 24.00) St. Cross Church is open with the exhibition celebrating its 90th anniversary. At 9.00 pm there will be evening music on the theme of peace with the “s'Quartett”.

Remise art space: CANSU YILDIRAN: PHOTOGRAPHY (FROM 18.00 TO 24.00) Cansu Yıldıran, born in Istanbul in 1996, is a photographic artist. A central theme in her work is the exploration of human identity and the individual self. She explores the complexity and multi-layered nature of being human and asks questions about origin, belonging and personal history. She lives and works in Istanbul.

Remisesaal: ANDREAS GASSNER: “HÜTTABARGAHUS & SCHTALL” (FROM 20.00 TO 24.00) Andreas Gaßner was born in Braz in Klostertal in 1959. He lives with his family at the foot of the Lechquellengebirge. He first came into contact with photography at the age of 14 and later invested a lot of time in documenting his mountain tours and travels in Europe, South America, Africa and Asia. There are several solo exhibitions and participations in exhibitions. Andreas Gaßner has won numerous awards and top prizes in photography competitions.

INTERACTIVE ART EXPERIENCE II (AT 9.30 PM) The artists will give guided tours and Matthias Baumgartner will show how he works. House of Habakkuk: The “Haus Habakuk” opens its doors to all lovers of puppet theater and cult figures. In this unique exhibition, visitors can experience the fascinating characters of Clown Habakuk up close. On display are the popular cult figures Kasperl, Tintifax, Goose Mimi, Toby & Tobias and Co as well as puppets by other renowned puppet artists. PUPPET SHOW (FROM 11.00 PM)

Prices:
Regular (€ 17,-) and discounted (€ 14,-) tickets entitle the holder to admission to all participating cultural institutions, use of the special bus routes and regular public transport.

Reduced tickets for Ö1 Club members, schoolchildren, students, senior citizens, people with disabilities and those in military service. Admission is free for children up to the age of twelve.

Regional tickets (€ 6,-) ONLY entitle the holder to admission to the museums in the Oberland region / Bludenz district. No special bus lines.
