The legendary Bärenland

For many years, the legendary Bärenland at Sonnenkopf has been one of the most popular destinations in Vorarlberg and far beyond. In the Bärenland, the bear is literally loose.

Already the cable car ride with the lovingly decorated Bear gondolas starts the fun for children. More than 30 interesting, eventful and "bearish" game stations are waiting to be discovered.

The great and natural water features are especially enjoyable. It's pretty funny on the Bärenspielplatz. On the Bear Lake, brave ones can practice rafting. With eyes closed, stroking the magic bear in the Bear Cave, perhaps many a wish comes true. As silver was once mined at the Sonnenkopf plateau, today the children can embark on an adventurous treasure hunt and search for small silver bears on a large field.

The Bärenweg with its six eventful and interactive game stations, which tell a lot of interesting facts about Meister Petz, extends the attractive range of games in Bärenland. Also about the history and walking route of "Bruno" the bear, the first bear in Austria after almost 170 years, learn a lot of interesting things along the new bear trail. Admission to Bearland is free. For the ascent and descent, there are inexpensive family tickets.
