Nostalgic Trains
To mark the 140th anniversary of the Arlberg Railway, the Arlberg Railway Society, which is part of the Klostertal Museum Association, is launching its activities. The ProBahn Vorarlberg association is organizing a nostalgia trip from Wolfurt (boarding from Dornbirn) to Langen am Arlberg on 19 October 2024. A reception and guided tours of the Spullersee power station in Wald am Arlberg will be held for participants. This will be celebrating its 100th anniversary next year, which we are already looking forward to.
Transfer from Langen to Wald am Arlberg for the guided tour of the Spullerseekraftwerk (please let us know if you do NOT wish to take part in this part of the program or do not require a return transfer).

Transfer back to Langen am Arlberg
Return journey to Wolfurt at approx. 15:30
The exact timetable will be sent to participants by email 5-7 days before the trip.

Meeting point: Journey from Wolfurt to Langen am Arlberg at approx. 10:00 a.m. with boarding options in Dornbirn, Hohenems, Rankweil, Feldkirch and Bludenz (unfortunately it is not yet possible to board the train in Wolfurt due to the renovation work).
Price: The ride on the historic electric locomotive 1110.505 costs 40 euros (20 euros for members of the Klostertal Museum Association, free for members of the Arlbergbahn-Gesellschaft). Young people aged 14 - 18 and apprentices pay half price.
