The aim of this package of measures is for employees in tourism to experience our region as a place of appreciation and welcome with high standards and to receive support in all matters relating to life and work.

Welcome box & Welcome meeting

Welcome meetings will be held in Bludenz and Montafon for long-standing employees and new seasonal staff. In addition, all tourism employees will receive a welcome box from the company with information and tips about the region and the Starcard. Employers can obtain the boxes free of charge from Alpenregion Vorarlberg.

Courses and excursions

The valley tours in the individual valleys take place twice a year. The aim of these excursions is for employees to get to know important infrastructure and facilities in the individual valleys better.

Service points for employees

As in the tourist offices for guests, there are also service points for employees in tourism, where tourism professionals can obtain information on topics such as medical care, childcare or re-registering a car.

At www.tourismusjobs.at employees can find all important regional contacts and frequently asked questions. The platform also provides an overview of job vacancies, companies and the region.

Users can also educate themselves and expand their regional knowledge as well as their knowledge of dialect expressions. The online quiz provides employees with exciting information on culture, tradition and leisure activities.
