Kulturlandschaftswanderung Bargrand

On Friday, 18/10/2024, Christof Thöny will guide you through the cultural landscape in Außerwald. This leisurely hike through the Schattenmähder in Wald am Arlberg is all about the old rural cultural landscape. People used to live here all year round. Today, you can still see old stables and hay barns that remind us of the long history of agriculture. These places are extremely important for the research of the Klostertal Cultural Landscape Fund.

The meeting point for the hike in cooperation with the Bludenz adult education center is on Friday, 18/10/2024 at 14:00 in Außerwald at the bridge over the S16; the return to the starting point is planned for 16:30.

The course fee of EUR 15.00 can be paid directly on site; the excursion is free for members of the Klostertal Museum Association.

Arrival by public transportation: Landbus 720, bus stop “Wald am Arlberg Außerwald”. The exact connections can be found at www.vmobil.at. Travel by public transport is free with the Brandnertal, Bludenz, Klostertal Guest Card and the Premium Guest Card.
