BÄR is an attempt to encounter a wild animal without any preconceptions. The animal for what it is. What scares us so much? And how much wilderness still lies dormant within us? Fascination and fear are often close to each other and there are already calls for extermination. But is a real encounter with a wild animal even possible? Can we tolerate the wild, the untamed, the unpredictable next to us or must everything give way to absolute safety?
