In the Alpenregion Vorarlberg, accessibility takes center stage. We want to ensure that all guests - whether with baby carriages, wheelchairs or other needs - feel welcome and comfortable. From barrier-free accommodation and restaurants to accessible hiking trails and attractions, we offer a wide range of services that promote inclusion and make vacations relaxing for everyone.
Barrier-free hikes
The wheelchair hiking trails lead along routes of a suitable length, moderate incline and optimal road conditions - either on asphalt or on well-smoothed gravel paths.

ÖZIV Landesverband Vorarlberg
The ÖZIV (Vorarlberg regional association) has been operating an aid center for people with disabilities in Bregenz for years. Wheelchairs, e-cars, stair climbers, scalamobiles, rollators, etc. can be borrowed here at low cost. Delivery and collection costs (if the aid cannot be collected in Bregenz) are passed on directly, no rent is charged for a few days' hire, but any donation is appreciated.

Public transportation:
- City buses: In Bregenz, Dornbirn, Feldkirch, Bludenz and the majority of country buses are equipped with retractable ramps and can therefore be used by wheelchair users.

Information about sports and events
The Vorarlberg Disabled Sports Association has its own independent club, the ENJO Vorarlberg Wheelchair Club. Friendly and championship competitions are held in basketball, tennis, alpine and monoskiing, Nordic cross-country skiing, handcycling, shooting, table tennis and billiards.
