Brandnertal
Brandnertal offers a variety of experiences for all those looking for nature and relaxation. The breathtaking Lünersee lake, surrounded by the impressive Schesaplana massif, awaits you at an altitude of almost 2,000 meters. Here, peaceful hiking trails and themed paths invite you to experience nature in all its pristine glory and recharge your batteries. For those who prefer something more active, the bike park or climbing park offer a number of challenges, while the clear waters of the Alvierbad natural bathing lake invite you to refresh yourself. In winter, Brandnertal enchants visitors with its natural snowy landscapes that delight skiers, snowshoe hikers and nature lovers alike. Away from the hustle and bustle, you will find quiet winter walking trails and a family friendly ski area with gentle fun on the slopes.
Klostertal
Rugged cliffs, thundering waterfalls and crystal-clear mountain lakes: Klostertal offers intense nature experiences that will captivate you. The Klostertal is an unspoilt valley that is characterized by its pristine nature and intense natural experiences. From the majestic Arlberg to the Alpine town of Bludenz, you are accompanied by rugged peaks and steep valley sides that create a breathtaking backdrop. Water in all its forms is the beating heart of the Klostertal - from mysterious mountain lakes such as the Formarinsee to powerful waterfalls such as the Mason-waterfall in Braz. In summer, every step takes you through quaint forests, along rushing streams and up to lofty heights, where the Alpine landscape unfolds in all its splendor. Particularly impressive is the "Steinerne Meer" (sea of stones), an alpine karst plateau that holds fossils millions of years old - silent witnesses to a time long past. In winter, the valley is transformed into a tranquil snowy landscape, where the natural-snow-only-ski area Sonnenkopf with its pistes offers peace and relaxation away from the crowds. For those in search of tranquillity, the winter hiking trails lead to places such as the Muttjöchle and the deep feeling of freedom.
UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Großes Walsertal
The Biosphere Reserve Großes Walsertal promises a vacation in harmony with nature. Here you can slow down and reconnect with yourself. In summer, more than 230 kilometers of marked hiking trails lead through the impressive mountain world, past blooming meadows, clear mountain streams and rustic Alps. It is an experience for all the senses, where you can enjoy not only the beauty of nature, but also local delicacies such as the famous Walserstolz mountain cheese. In winter, the valley shows its quiet side: the three small ski resorts of Raggal, Sonntag-Stein and Faschina offer family-friendly slopes away from the hustle and bustle, where peace and nature take center stage. Here you will not only find fun in the snow, but also space for real relaxation.
