Trailrunning in Brandnertal
Where the mountains set the pulse racing
It is still early in the morning when I pull on my shoes and take my first steps on the trail. The scent of dewy meadows mingles with the cool, clear mountain air. Ahead of me are endless paths through the Brandnertal - terrain that not only challenges the legs, but also clears the mind.
The route leads across meadows, past clear streams that make their way down into the valley. The landscape is constantly changing and always offers new perspectives: a view of the imposing peaks of the Rätikon, a lonely hut along the way, the gentle sound of a waterfall in the distance.
I love these moments. The silence, interrupted only by the rhythm of my steps and the occasional call of a bird, leaves everyday life far behind me. I feel free up here. There is something magical about the Brandnertal that you can only experience if you explore the paths yourself - step by step.
What fascinates me again and again is the variety of trails. Today I'm on a more challenging route, but there are also routes that are ideal for simply setting off and enjoying the landscape. Sometimes I think the mountains here know exactly how to lure you back again and again.
After a challenging descent, I reach my destination. I drop onto a bench, enjoy the sun and let my gaze wander over the valley once more. Running here isn't just sport - it's a feeling, an adventure that stays with you.
Come and experience it for yourself. The Brandnertal is waiting for you.
