Thanks to the ski instructor

Or how there is still time for being together on a family vacation

The sun is shining, the Rätikon mountains are gleaming in glorious white and the gentle hum of the gondolas sets the mood for an enjoyable day's skiing. The fun begins with a friendly welcome from the cable car staff at the valley station of the Dorfbahn in Brand. We slowly float up from the valley in the gondola. Getting up early will be worth it when we are among the first to carve our turns in the snow on the freshly groomed slopes. Once at the top, the ski instructor awaits us, who will be out on the slopes with our children on this sunny day. They will be learning lots of new things today - and we will be spending a day in intimate togetherness. The three of us say goodbye to the teacher and pupils and head towards the Niggenkopfbahn, while we board the Panoramabahn.

After the cable car ride with breathtaking views of the valley below and the surrounding mountains, we enjoy a cappuccino in the restaurant Frööd mountain restaurant. Coffee and fresh mountain air - a combination that invigorates the senses like no other. Then we strap on our skis and carve down the almost untouched slopes towards Bürserberg into the valley - black, red, blue, red, black and on and on - we can't get enough of the fun on the slopes.

Cheese spaetzle, Älplerrösti, Kaiserschmarren, pizza, pasta or an Alpenburger? At lunch with the children and their ski instructor, there is plenty to choose from, from traditional hut delicacies to well-known cuisine. While the little ones get straight back into their bindings after lunch to collect more meters of piste, we lie down in one of the deckchairs and enjoy the warming rays of the winter sun.

After two hours of relaxing sunbathing, our little skiers want to demonstrate their new skills. We say goodbye to the ski instructor and take a few more turns in the snow together. In the fun run, our little artists boldly jump over the smaller kickers and finally we master the fun run together - a very special slope with steep turns, waves and lots of fun. Highly motivated, plans are already being made for the next day of skiing: a race on the WISBI course is arranged. We glide blissfully back down into the valley. Thanks to the ski instructor - for a day with the best of both worlds.
