Tour description

Along the municipalities of Nüziders, Bludenz and Braz, a cultural-historical theme trail, the "Sunna Trail", has been inspiring visitors since summer 2019. The third stage leads from Rungelin in Bludenz to the TRAUBE BRAZ Alpen.Spa.Golf.Hotel in Außerbraz.

The "Sunna Weg" gets its name from its location on the sunny side of the valley and its course through the Sonnenberg community of Nüziders. Nüziders was once the ancestral seat of the county of Sonnenberg. On this hiking trail close to the town, 25 panels provide information with cultural-historical focal points. They also cover scenic, natural history and geological topics. The focus is always on conveying stories about people and the landscape.

Stage 3

The third stage of the theme trail runs from Rungelin in Bludenz to the TRAUBE BRAZ Alpen.Spa.Golf.Hotel in Außerbraz. The start and end points and all entry points have been chosen so that they can be easily reached by public transport. Along the way, numerous loungers and benches invite you to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.

Stage 3
The tour starts in Rungelin or above Rungelin at Hellwald. From Hellwald the hiking trail leads via Gastastiegele - past the Klangraststätte - to Grubs. At Grubs cross the Grubser Tobel and continue along the hiking trail to the Allmakreuz. Here you can make a short detour to the Allmeintobel or take the footpath past the Winkel in the direction of Reckholder and from there take the road to the end point at the TRAUBE BRAZ Alpen.Spa.Golf.Hotel.

At the Allmakreuz it is worth taking a detour to the impressive Allmein waterfall. Follow the Allmein circuit here. Additional walking time: approx. 30 minutes.
