I love riding my bike to the start of the Sarotlatal. I park my bike there, lace up my hiking boots again and enjoy the peace and quiet in the impressive scenery up to the Sarotlahütte.

My insider tip is the path to the Niggenkopf sound terrace via the Niggenkopfsteig. There I enjoy the view of the valley and reflect on the day.

I don't really like hiking, but I recommend a relaxing walk through the village. Afterwards, I end the day with a leisurely stop at the Spezerei.

After a refreshment stop at the Burtschahof, I like to walk towards the stone circles, then over the romantic Vilschena to the Mottaköpfle. There I enjoy the view of the valleys and the Rätikon. On the way back, I take a break at Alpe Rona, refresh myself briefly at the Kneipp station and then walk back along the shady Kohlgrubenweg.

For me, the sunrise hike to the Mondspitze is a real insider tip. It's the perfect hike to switch off and an unforgettable experience when the sun rises. You can enjoy an impressive view afterwards.
