The protection of nature is particularly important to you. How will the project be implemented sustainably?

The Brandnertal is not just a vacation region - it is home, habitat and retreat for many protected animal species. The capercaillie in particular has its last large habitat here in Vorarlberg. We have therefore developed a comprehensive protection concept that consciously focuses on gentle tourism. Targeted wildlife rest areas, new routes and an information program are intended to raise awareness of this sensitive habitat. The aim is to harmoniously combine nature and adventure.

What does the new building mean for summer operations?

Brandnertal is increasingly developing into a year-round destination. With the new lift, the Loischkopf for hikersfamilies and bikers:inside even more accessible. We are redesigning the bike park, optimizing routes and creating a new children's bike park at the valley station as an additional offer for families. Our aim isthat guests discover the mountain in their own way - be it with hiking boots, on two wheels or very comfortably by train.

How do locals benefit from this project?

The Loischkopfbahn is an investment in the future - and in the future of the entire valley. entire valley. It secures jobs, strengthens the regional economy and ensures that our homeland remains worth living in for future generations. At the same time, we want to remain an authentic place - not a leisure park, but a genuine mountain village with character and soul.

If everything goes according to plan, construction will start in April 2025, directly after the winter season. We will take the first ride together at the opening in winter 2025/26 - a moment that will herald a new era for Brandnertal. And I'm already looking forward to it.
