Tour description

On this route you have a magnificent view of the Sarotla Valley and the Zimba, which is also called the "Vorarlberg Matterhorn" because of its striking shape.
Description

From the centre of Brand, walk along the footpath between the golf course and Hotel Sarotla down to the Alvierbach stream. At the bottom of the Alvierbach, change sides of the stream and walk out of the valley on the right side of the Alvierbach along the so-called "Green Forest Trail" into the Wiesle. At the height of the Klostermaisäß, you have a fantastic view into the Sarotla valley. Shortly before the village of Tschapina, you cross the Alvierbach again and then hike uphill towards the main road, to the village of Tschapina. Return the same way (additional 1,5 h walking time) or continue on the country road. You can also take the bus line 580 back to Brand from the "Tschapina" bus stop.
