Breithornhütte
We, the Bickel family, manage the Breithorn hut.
The hut is proudly situated at the foot of the Breithorn (2,081m) and the Glattmar (1,930m) at 1,652m in the middle of the beautiful Alpe Oberpartnom. It is the highest situated hut in the area of sunday stone.
We can accommodate 20 overnight guests. The rustic dining room invites you to linger and also on the terrace, it can live well with views of the Breithorn and the beautiful view of the Große Walsertal up to the Swiss mountains (Säntis).
The film "Der Atem des Himmels" was shot by Reinhhold Bilgeri at Alpe Oberpartnom in summer 2009 and winter 2010. For all who would like to admire the scene, a good reason to visit us at the hut.
