More than just a lift in the alpine heights of the Grosses Walsertal.
 
Winter Take the gondola lift directly from the village to Sonntag-Stein in just 7 minutes. There you will find the Oberpartnom double chairlift with two runs and the ski route. And it's not just skiers and snowboarders who enjoy the unspoilt nature of the Sonntag-Stein area. It is also a small paradise for winter hiking and snowshoeing and a toboggan run leads from Unterpartnom to Stein. Toboggans can be hired by the day at the mountain station.

There is a skifox for lovers of alternative sports. The family-friendly Sonntag Stein ski area offers pure variety for all winter sports enthusiasts, whether big or small!

Summer
Directly opposite the biosphärenpark.haus, the small cable car takes you to the Sonntag-Stein hiking area in just a few minutes.
 
Families can hear the sounds of nature in a whole new way on the Klangraum.Stein themed trail, before fortifying themselves for new adventures at the barbecue area with a home-baked calzone from the clay oven. A new playground with water features and a special cave in an old lime kiln has been created just a few steps away from the barbecue area.
 
Sporty hikers can climb the Wandfluh or the Breithorn and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Große Walsertal. Climbers will find their challenge on the Wandfluh climbing wall.
And the crowning glory of every tour in the Sonntag-Stein hiking area is a visit to one of the catered huts.

From summer 2025, there are two exciting new features to discover in the Sonntag-Stein hiking and climbing area. Firstly, a new playground has been opened in Klangraum.Stein, which invites children and families to play and linger. Secondly, the new Wandfluh via ferrata was opened in June 2024, which will delight adventure seekers and climbing enthusiasts. Via ferrata sets can be conveniently hired at the mountain station.
