Alp- & Hiking Buses in the Biosphere Park Großes Walsertal
Information and Bus Schedules
A special service are the Alp- and Hiking Buses: The hiking bus takes you to the Alps, which are closed to private traffic. All these Alps are starting points for beautiful hikes.
From June to mid-September, the Alpine buses run once a week to Steris Alpe, Türtsch Alpe, Alpe Oberüberluth and Alpe Iscarney. Monday to Friday there is a bus to Portla Alpe and saturdays and sundays the Alpbus drives to Alpe Klesenza.

Landbus Timetables
Hiking bus Marul-Laguzalpe 576 is valid until 25/09/2024.
After that there is a driving ban (for mountain bikes and cars) approx. 2-3 weeks due to hunting.

Walser Alptaxi
In addition to the regular service and the offer of the Walser Alpbuses, an Alptaxi is offered during the summer months. The Alptaxi will take you up to the alps on request. This offer is valid for all the alps listed in the timetable, except on days when the regular alpine bus drives to the desired alp according to the timetable.

Seewaldsee-Bummelzug
The Seewaldsee-Bummelzug runs daily from June to September from Fontanella-Säge to Seewald and back.
