Guided Tours with Walser Guides

Winter Program 2023/2024

Großes Walsertal Biosphere Reserve is characterized by its unique natural and cultural landscape. If you are looking for peace and quiet and want to escape everyday life, this is the place for you. Get out of the hustle and bustle and into the endless mountains of Großes Walsertal. Alone, between the impressive peaks. This is how you can really relax and switch off.

With the Walser Guides you will experience nature in a special way that so often doesn't exist anywhere else. The Walser Guides offer a high quality range and are all state-certified mountain and / or ski guides with a wealth of experience and excellent knowledge of the areas. So, what are you waiting for?

Ski Touring Basic Course

On touring skis on the pristine deep snow slopes, explore lonely, snow-covered valleys and enjoy a unique descent after the summit success: These are experiences that are only possible outside the ski areas. However, in order to be able to travel safely in open terrain, knowledge and experience in this complex topic are necessary. In these two course days you will learn the basics of ski mountaineering in practice. From the necessary equipment, to the right lane system, the correct interpretation of the avalanche report, the use of safety equipment and behavior in emergency situations.

Costs: from 4 people each EUR 270.00
Note: dates and booking on www.walserguides.at

The Right Technology for the Terrain

With the right technique, freeriding is fun even in difficult snow conditions. On these two days you will expand your skiing skills in deep snow. The state-certified ski instructors and ski guides help you with individual tips and exercises to improve your skiing technique. The Sonntag-Stein ski area is the perfect place for freeriding: the varied northern slopes of the Glattmar and the Gronggenkopf offer many downhill options in deep snow. Perfect your technique there and on the perfectly groomed slopes.

Costs: from 4 people each EUR 270.00
