Rainy Day Hikes
Even a rainy Day can be an Experience
"When it rains we make the best out of it" is the motto in the four valleys around the alpine town of Bludenz in the south of Vorarlberg. With selected rainy day walks we want to banish the bad weather and provide tasty hiking tours.
We want to show our guests how beautiful the nature is during rainfall and try to convince everyone that rainy days can be positive. It also makes us aware of why we have such a beautiful, lush green landscape and so much water. In addition, it has been scientifically proven that it is easier to walk on rainy days since exercise on wet days puts less strain on the heart by up to 40 percent.
All walks were checked that you do not just sink into the wet boggy ground and careful consideration was given for cultural and culinary highlights.
The hiking program ranges from the Bludenz city tour to hikes with plunging waterfalls in Brandnertal and Klostertal. In these selected rain walks we have especially considered those with families and fulfilling the needs of those children who like to be active and adventurous.
