Stick bread

Summertime is barbecue time

What could be nicer than a break with a view along a leisurely hike? And if it's also a well-equipped barbecue area, it makes the day even more perfect, doesn't it? Whether with family or friends - barbecuing together is simply a special experience. In Brandnertal, Klostertal and the Großes Walsertal there are several barbecue areas - in the forest, by the river or near a lake shore. Many of them are even equipped with wood, firelighters or barbecue grills. Some places also have benches, and one barbecue area even has a clay pizza oven!

All that's missing are sausages, vegetables and other delicacies. And how about some tasty stick bread? We've tried out a simple recipe for you - you'll find it further down on this page.

Note:
Please take care to treat nature responsibly. Stay in the designated areas when barbecuing and do not leave any garbage behind. If it is too dry in midsummer, barbecuing in wooded areas may also be prohibited, please contact the tourist office, the cable car staff or your accommodation for more information. Thank you very much!

So nothing stands in the way of an unforgettable experience in the great outdoors! We hope you enjoy your barbecue and have a good meal.
