BERGaktiv Hike to three Walser Alps

Equipment

Ankle-high hiking boots with a tread sole, sun protection (cream & headgear) and rain protection, snacks, a filled water bottle (not too sweet!), a seating mat, first-aid equipment, and a mobile phone. We recommend, if available: a camera, hiking poles, a field guide for plants/animals, and a flashlight or headlamp for evening/night hikes.

The alpine and hiking bus costs extra.

Description

The tour starts with the hiking bus to Alpe Laguz. From there we hike over the Upper Laguzalpe to Schwarzen Furka at 2,200 meters above sea level, and further through the core zone of the Faludriga-Nova Biosphere Park to Fuchswaldalpe. With a bit of luck, we will see along with a diverse flora, marmots, chamois, and ibex in this large habitat.
