Sonntag-Stein ski area: Floating over the valley on the gondola lift to the ski area

The Sonntag-Stein gondola lift is not for people with a fear of heights. In just seven minutes you float from Sonntag to the other side of the valley to Sonntag-Stein. The "Ste", as it is called in Walser dialect, is home to the Oberpartnom double chairlift with two descents and a ski route. But it's not just skiers and snowboarders who enjoy the tranquillity and unspoilt nature of this ski area. Winter and snowshoe hikes as well as toboggan runs also offer unforgettable experiences.

It gets particularly romantic under a full moon: during "Sun, Moon & Snow", you can go skiing, tobogganing and ski touring under the light of the full moon.

Faschina ski area: family-friendly, clearly laid out and nostalgic

Family-friendly, easy to navigate and nostalgic - that's how the Faschina ski area can be described in three words. At the end of the Großes Walsertal, directly on the Faschinajoch, lies this small, fine ski area. The rustic Franz-Josef-Hütte spoils you with delicious food right on the mountain - ideal for all those who appreciate peace and quiet more than the hustle and bustle of other ski areas.

The ski instructors at the Faschina ski school, most of whom are from the Walsertal, take the time to teach you the art of skiing. They will not only accompany you on the pistes in the ski area, but also on ski tours or show you the right turns in deep snow.
